Daniel Milton is a surgeon who, driven by personal tragedy, operates an illegal clinic deep below London's Temple tube station for those who either wish to remain outside the system, or for those desperate enough to seek treatment unavailable through conventional means. Aided by disgruntled underground worker Lee and guilt-ridden medical researcher Anna, Daniel's dangerous and unpredictable clientele test his morality to the limit. But if it means he can save the person he loves, it will all be worth it.

Great series, I hope it comes back for a season 2

I don’t “think” the original Norwegian show had a season 2. But you never know. The original South Korean Good Doctor only had one season. The American version, which is very good (sorry but not as good as the Korean one) is going into what - season 3? So perhaps they will have further seasons of this one too.

I watched the first 4 episodes. I like it. It’s based on the series from Norway called Valkyrien staring Sven Nordin which was excellent… I had heard there was a British retelling in the works, so far it does the original justice

i was just about to write the same thing but you beat me to it ! (ps i remember the alcoholic episode from the Norwegian series(this one is totally different) that inspired me to get a prescription for a drug that makes you ill (not kill you ) when you consume alcohol that really helped me stop 20 years of drinking like a chef, so that show always had a soft spot in my heart )

Watched all 8 episodes. I enjoyed it. They developed decent characters gave it some good plot twists. I feel the original had more depth, but many people will probably see this without ever seeing valkyerin so they won’t feel like anything is off.

It jumped the shark a bit and was a little more absurdist in concept but at least we can be thank full it was a British version and not another show bastardized and dummied down for the lowest common denominator by an American network ???

Incessant Chatter 2 points 1 month ago

I heard there is an american as well as a possible german version both in the early stages of development… I agree the brits make really good “noir-ish” serials, 2nd only to the Scandinavians. The american versions of The Bridge and The Killing were ok. The Tunnel (The British/French show based on The Bridge) was really good for the most part. CBS/NBC and ABC in America churn out “procedurals” for the masses, some are pretty good, some suck. Our newer networks in America (AMC,FX,Fox) etc… have put out some really awesome original series. I try not to get too attached… If I truely like a show it usually winds up getting cancelled!

NEW SHOW! Sky Network just dropped this 8-Episode Season, right in time for Friday the 13th!

Will the final 4 episodes still go to air? Do you know?

RoboPhone 1 points 1 month ago

The episodes have aired. Most likely, they are in the process of being being uploaded and converted into a streamable format, before Links are available for use to use.

Best recommendation is to be patient, Add this to your Watch List and Check Back Often!

Thanks for your contribution!

Good advice. Was a bit worried after watching the first 4 episodes one after another that I would not get to see what happens in the end. I wonder why it was dropped? I did read that the set (which was really costly) has been demolished, perhaps that was a consideration?

RoboPhone 1 points 1 month ago

The term “Dropped” merely indicates that we have received more than one Episode at a time - frequently the entire season. Streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon and Sky Channel commonly utilize this method. Other networks show an episode weekly until the season concludes.

Awareness of the scheduled air dates shown is a valuable tool in meeting ones expectations and maximizing satisfaction.

My satisfaction has now been maximized, I know what I will be doing for the next couple of hours. :-)
