Killing Michael Jackson (2019)
yellow_rose1 0 points 8 days ago

Many of these drugs are used when someone is being executed in death penalty cases. Now if that is not symbolic I don’t know what is. Crazy, and the thing is he will probably retain his license in another state as he had many times before killing M.J.

Judge Judy (2010)
Magenta -2 points 1 month ago

Sheindlin has a reported net worth of $400 million, according to Forbes, and brought home $147 million in 2017: $47 million from hosting “Judge Judy” and producing “Hot Bench,” another popular legal television show, and an estimated $100 million from selling the rights of her show to CBS. That makes her the highest-paid host on TV.

Braveheart (1995)
ShugarCat 3 points 3 months ago

This film is epic. Every aspect of production is near perfect. From the costume design and filming locations to the acting, directing, editing and the script. The soundtrack to this epic story is also top notch. If you have not seen Braveheart do yourself a kindness and set aside the time to view it. You will not be sorry. Its the Gone with the Wind of 1995 and should be viewed on the big screen. However, a small screen will do just fine.

yellow_rose1 1 points 1 month ago

I wanted to see this in the theater so bad but spent 3 weeks in the hospital at the time of its release, it must of been something to see, the battles on the big screen

“it’s me you old poop” I can’t believe no links for a timeless classic like this

Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones (2019)
Quld 3 points 1 month ago

Dave Chappelle in his typically effortless style ruthlessly takes on topics of the day. Fearlessly counter-attacking against social-media’s purge culture and other sensitive issues he crafts another brilliant performance that will be talked about and enjoyed for as long as there are links and downloads. Unfortunately, only one hour long and lacking his “epilogue” segment here this special may be his best since Killin’ Them Softly.

yellow_rose1 4 points 1 month ago

I think Dave C. is getting better and funnier with age. 4/5 for me

Jacob's Ladder (2019)
RoboPhone 0 points 1 month ago *

Okay, my jury’s back with a verdict. This one stands on it own legs using the viewer’s awareness of the classic version to deftly bob and weave around the subject matter to a satisfying conclusion.

Definitely worth watching! A solid 3.5/5 Robo-Stars from me.

yellow_rose1 1 points 1 month ago

I’m enjoying it, I’m far enough into it, to be able to agree that it does stand on it’s own while not following the first to an exact as most remakes do and I feel some should but this story line works really well and has kept me intrigued throughout. Most remakes you know what will happen next with each scene but not this one. I think most will enjoy it weather viewing the first or not

Marquis de Sade? Well good luck with that. He says he’s an Author and has two restaurants but I’ve never heard of him either, so yes what is his claim to fame?If I find out where he got his start I’ll let you know and vise versa. Ok? It’s a good show I’m looking forward to more

well I think its a great show, it doesn’t have the drama of the other shows so if you’re looking for that you may not like it

Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon (2011)
RoboPhone 1 points 2 months ago

Approximately 70 Sheriff deputies for Michael and only about 5 for O.J. In my opinion, California’s prejudiced DA, borderline corrupt Police Department Media all acting like a bunch of hungry hyenas, had Michael convicted even before the trial began. Then, after over 5 months of 3-ring-circus antics, he was freed of all charges.

However, the damage was already done to him emotionally and thereby physically. Again in my opinion, they sucked that wonderfully unique spark from him with their small-minded intolerant mob mentality! That’s really when he died. He was never the same after that.

So, I say shame on all of us who did noting to prevent such an atrocity from happening. We have once again proven ourselves to be a society unworthy of being called civilized.

yellow_rose1 0 points 2 months ago *

I get so angry when I think of Micheal I’ve always said even though O.d is listed as the cause of death it’s society that really killed him. It was because he was different, anytime someone isn’t mainstream they are ostracized, your right though they were like hungry hyenas they killed his spirit big time. You know he never went back to the ranch to live after that

Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon (2011)
Tiger8me -2 points 2 months ago

I’m with you on this one yellow_rose. Being a survivor of real pedophiles the one thing they all had in common was a complete disconnect from their hearts. Michael Jackson’s love for animals and children show just how connected to his heart he was.

yellow_rose1 0 points 2 months ago

so true. But the biggest tell of his innocence to me was the authorities found nothing when they stormed and totaled his ranch. A big fat 0
